Industrial plating booths and walls

Special booth, designed for metallizing, enclosure built with reinforced steel profiles, joined by tortilleria and with folded and screwed panels. Made according to the dimensions required by the customer.

Special booth for metallizing with a ventilation system specially calculated to eliminate the fumes and dusts produced during the metallizing process, which allows to keep the air inside in working conditions.

We have two complementary filtration systems, according to the customer’s needs and possibilities.

Suction by means of fans with external motor (outside the air vein), mounted on a wall, located at the other end, with metallic closing labyrinth that retains the dust by means of a turbulence effect, and additionally it is possible to install an added filtering system by means of special metallized cartridges with precoating treatment

Metallizing machinery

We have electric arc spraying equipment from 4 to 122 kg/hour with power up to 60 kw. We can work with different materials, zinc, aluminum, steel and different wire diameters from 1.6 mm to 3.48 mm.

Option of installation of 2nd screen with total control of the machine inside the booths (displaced from the machine) and possibility of connection to the Ethernet / internet network (which enables remote assistance).

Electric arc wire spraying

Electric arc wire spraying, which offers excellent portability for coatings anywhere. Covers pipe weld bead applications, piston rings, capacitors, varistors, boiler walls, and large infrastructure. It uses only electricity and atomized air to melt the metal alloy and pure metal wires.

For the electric arc wire spraying process, we use two metal wires, usually of the same composition, as the raw coating material. The two wires are electrically charged with opposite polarity and fed into the arc gun at matched, controlled speeds. When we bring the wires together at the point of contact, the opposing charges on the wires create enough heat to continuously melt the tips of the wires. We use compressed air to atomize the already molten material and accelerate it to the surface of the part to form the coating

Description of the process

We continuously feed the wire-shaped spray material into a flame of fuel oxygen gas where it is melted by the heat of that combustion. Compressed air surrounds the flame and atomizes the molten tip of the wire. This accelerates the jet of molten particles toward the surface of the prepared part. Aerosol combustion wire is a common choice for machine element repair and corrosion coatings. You have the option of disc (higher melting temperature) or soft (lower melting temperature) wires
